Famous celebrities with Coronavirus (COVID-19)

While we are trying to take a break from Coronavirus and focus on what’s happening in the world other than the Pandemic, COVID-19 shows up its face in the news again. The virus is hitting everyone exposes, whether it’s a celebrity or just a regular citizen. No one is really immune to it, that’s why almost the whole world is in quarantine. With over 877k cases worldwide (189k+ in the US alone) as of today, the number of celebrities and famous politicians affected with Coronavirus is increasing. Some have recovered from it, a few have passed away while the rest are still isolated. Here is an updated list of famous celebrities diagnosed with Coronavirus.

Famous Celebrities: Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson

Tom Hanks and his wife Rita Wilson were diagnosed with Coronavirus when they were Australia. Hanks was there to shoot for a movie. However, the symptoms of cold and flu were alarming. They tested positive for the virus. As a result, the couple isolated during their recovery period. They have fully recovered now and back to their home in Los Angeles.

Idris Elba

After a few days of Tom Hanks’s diagnosis, fans were hit with another shocking news of Idris Elba testing positive for Coronavirus. While the symptoms did not really show up for him, he was exposed to someone who was diagnosed with COVID-19. Therefore, he decided to go for a test and turned out he had the virus as well. Idris Elba urged his fans to follow social distancing and staying home. The quarantine period is over for him and he has recently shared an update with his fans.

Sabrina Dhowre Elba

Idris Elba was not surprised when his wife tested positive for Coronavirus. Even his wife ehrself was not surprised and she also had no symptoms. Instead of staying apart, they decided to pass the isolation time together. Sabrina said,

I could have made a decision to put myself maybe in a separate room or stay away, and I’m sure that people are making those decisions that are tough decisions to make. But I made the decision to be with him and still touch him.

Olga Kurylenko

The French-Ukrainian actress tested positive for Coronavirus on March 15. She urged her followers to take the virus seriously. Kristofer Hivju, Game of Thrones’ Tormund

Almost everyone misses Game of Thrones and the cast, even though all of us didn’t like how it ended. Kristofer Hivju, the notorious Tormund from Game of Thrones, also tested positive for the virus. He urged his fans to wash their hands regularly and follow the follow the distancing rule seriously.

Daniel Dae Kim

Kim tested positive for Coronavirus on March 19, and shared the news on Instagram. He also shared his experience and hoped that his fans stay calm and healthy.

Watch What Happens Live host, Andy Cohen, is returning to his shows after resting. He was diagnosed with the virus. However, he is feeling better now. He also shared a lovely moment of reunion with his family after being isolated for a few weeks.

Mark Blum

Mr. Mooney of Netflix’s You, Mark Blum, was diagnosed with Coronavirus. Unfortunately, he could not survive the complications and passed away on March 26. He was a dedicated Screen Actors Guild member from 2007-2013.

Harvey Weinstein

Even though his lawyers are denying it, however, some sources have confirmed that Harvey Weinstein has tested positive for Coronavirus. However, it is unclear that how he was infected.
