Reports are saying that the celebrity couple has returned to their Los Angeles home after recovering from the coronavirus in Australia. The couple was diagnosed with the pandemic and admitted themselves to a hospital in Australia to start their treatment. Later, Chet Hanks provided an update about his parents, telling us that the two of them were on road to recovery. He also told that the parents were going to put themselves in quarantine after discharging from the hospital.

Tom Hanks was filming Baz Luhrmann’s Elvis Presley biopic when the coronavirus pandemic forced the movie to shut down temporarily. Following this, Hanks reports that he and his wife Rita had contracted the coronavirus.
The news of their return to the United States comes more than a week after the couple was released from their hospital. In Hanks’ post, he revealed that they decided to get tested after developing symptoms related to the COVID-19 pandemic.
“We felt a bit tired, like we had colds, and some body aches. Rita had some chills that came and went. Slight fevers too. To play things right, as is needed in the world right now, we were tested for the coronavirus, and were found to be positive.”
