Famous celebrities seen stocking up on groceries
Even celebrities are not safe from the coronavirus pandemic
Each and every one of us feels worried about the coronavirus pandemic. And even celebrities are no stranger to the feeling. Unlike fanatics stocking up on toilet paper, celebs are stocking up groceries — the items that actually matter you know. And while hospitals are going through a shortage of protective wear, some celebrities are wearing ‘designer masks’.
Celebrities stocking up on groceries:
The United States is the first on yet another list: countries with most reported cases of coronavirus. Even though President Trump would have you believe the shutdown will last till Easter, it will go beyond that. And celebs have been hitting stores to stock up on essential items. Oscar-winner and vegan Joaquin Phoenix checked out three carts full of groceries and produce at Erewhon. Ashley Benson, Cara Delevingne, Kaia Gerber and Tommy Dorfman were group-shopping at Erewhon the other day, much like friends going at the mall on Saturday. Erewhon VP Jason Widener said:
We feel like this is our time to shine. People need us right now. We have doctors and herbalists and nutritionists that can help you with building your own in-house lung tonics and building your immune system. And they have all kinds of remedies to help. We feel like we have a purpose.
Gwyneth Paltrow in a designer mask:
While the rest of celebrities shopped maskless in gloves, Gwyneth Paltrow took special care of her health. She and husband Brad Falchuk were seen in designer black masks at the Brentwood’s farmers market.
Meanwhile, Norman Reedus and wife Diane Kruger were spotted grocery shopping together in LA. Charlize Theron shopped at Bristol Farms while Amber Heard was seen at a local store in Los Feliz. But, food star Bobby Flay bought up all the ‘fancy meats and ground beef’ at Eataly. Moreover, Emma Roberts hand-carried a light load of groceries. It seems everyone had their ‘hands full’ at the weekend.
