What could be better than a Paramount animated movie? A Paramount movie starring Will Arnett, Ben Schwartz, and Terry Crews. The film company is partnering up with WWE Studios for their upcoming movie Rumble. This partnership had led to major wrestlers such as Roman Reigns and Becky Lynch to lend their voices to the animated movie. Hamish Grieve is serving as the director. While the producers are Brad Booker and Mark Bakshi and executive producers are Richard Lowell and Susan Levison.
The story is going to revolve around how monsters are tamed and then utilized for wrestling. One of the characters, Winnie, aims to transform an inexperienced monster into a viable contestant. The release date is set for the summer of 2020. We don’t know who Will Arnett will voice but he’s one of the main characters.
Rumble does seem like it could be a better success than Paramount Pictures’ other movie projects. Having notable stars such as Will Arnett is certainly going to be a favorite point for the film. Previously, Will Arnett has lent his voice on the Netflix original series Bojack Horseman. Apart from that, he’s starring in Riveria. Terry Crews has gotten his fair share of recognition from popular sitcom Brooklyn Nine-Nine and as a host on America’s Got Talent.
You may have seen Ben Schwartz from Parks and Recreation as Jean Ralphio or in one of his comedy shows with Thomas Middleditch. Though, he’s voiced characters on many different shows such as DuckTales, Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Human Discoveries. Taxi’s Tony Danza is also going to give his voice in the movie Rumble. Along with this cast, there’s Jimmy Tatro and Geraldine Viswanathan. Boxing announcer Michael Buffer is also making a special appearance.
Paramount Pictures are probably looking to release as many movies as possible in the coming year of 2020. Other movies we can expect from the company is Clifford the Big Red Dog, Sonic the Hedgehog and The Spongebob Movie: It’s a Wonderful Sponge. The company really needs to bring some profit since their movies aren’t reaching the levels of success needed. The only movie to achieve a needed profit was 2015’s The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water that grossed about $325 million globally.
