The new version of Deadpool 2 comes out on the 21st of July. This one also stars Ryan Reynolds and is directed by David Leitch. Considering that the film’s cinematic cut was not uncensored, expectations about the uncut version must be high. The extended film version, 15 minutes longer than the original 2-hour version, will provide more context to the story.

It will include more scenes with Russell Collins (Julian Dennison) and the Juggernaut (voiced by Reynolds), longer fight sequences, and new subtitles for the opening musical number. The new post-credit scenes are also said to be one of the best parts of the Super Duper Cut. Overall, it would be worth a watch, but it shouldn’t replace the theatrical version, which also has its standout moments.

Deadpool movies usually thrill everyone. And why would they not? Considering that Deadpool was a whole new delightful franchise for comic fans. Superhero movies had become predictable with a generic plotline. And Deadpool producers challenged that trend with their latest film. It is safe to say that they surpassed everyone’s expectations with a very entertaining film.

The great success of Deadpool 2

Deadpool 2 had to do more than be a sequel. It satisfied fan expectations and gave the movie a fresh take. And being the action-packed super-comedy movie it was, Deadpool 2 opened a new gateway into sarcastic superhero adventures. The film grossed over $785 million at the box office, making it one of the highest-grossing R-rated films. It overall received positive reviews from critics and audiences, with praise for its humor, action, and performances, particularly from Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool. The film spawned a sequel, Deadpool 3.

Silliness, energy, fun, comedy, and loads of unfiltered language have undoubtedly made Deadpool 2 stand out as a trendsetter. It has given us a whole genre of movies that revolve around unfiltered language and breaking the 4th wall, revolutionizing films based on the comic book universe.

Who’s in the cast of the uncut version of Deadpool 2?

The case of the Uncut version of Deadpool 2 is the same as the original movie. We will have Ryan Reynolds as Wade Wilson, aka Deadpool, in his leading role. For the villain, we have Josh Brolin as Nathan Summers/Cable. Interestingly, Brolin also plays the villainous role of Thanos in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). He had a massive role in the Avengers movies. So, casting Brolin was a brilliant idea.

Others in the cast include Morena Baccarin as Vanessa Carlysle, Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead, T.J. Miller as Weasel, Julian Dennison as Russell Collins / Firefist, Stefan Kapičić as the voice of Colossus, Zazie Beetz as Neena Thurman / Domino, Terry Crews as Bedlam, Jack Kesy as Black Tom Cassidy, and Leslie Uggams as Blind Al.
