For Millennials. By Millennials.
Charli D’Amelio recently posted a tweet in which she mentioned the WAP dance is saved in her drafts. Now for all those people who don’t know about WAP dance, they need to download TikTok from the app store and see for themselves. WAP is a collaboration song by Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion. It premiered on 7th August and has about 110 million views on YouTube by now. Oh, and we can’t just forget Kylie Jenner’s surprise 5 seconds entry in the official music video. Anyways, let’s jump back to the topic. Now as we all know if something becomes a trend on TikTok, everybody has to follow it. And especially if they are famous. This is the reason why fans want to see Charli’s version of the WAP dance. But her mother wouldn’t let her post it for some obvious reasons.
Fans Shouldn’t Be Asking Charli D’Amelio To Post The WAP Song
We all know that Charli is only 16 which makes her a minor. And her mother Heidi D’Amelio is doing the right thing for not letting Charli post the WAP dance. Charli just wanted to share this news with her fans on Twitter as they keep asking her to do it. In fact, her fans should have supported her mother’s decision for not letting her post the WAP dance. But instead, they started asking her to post it for a few seconds then delete it.
Let’s take a look at how this whole thing started. Charli posted a tweet a few hours ago which is:
“my mom won’t let me post the wap dance but it’s in my drafts.”
Now half of the fans are totally in support of Charli. While the other half are asking “why are your parents controlling what you do or post”. Sweetheart, because this is the 21st century and our parents use all the social media apps. And they explain a few things to us like what’s age-appropriate and what isn’t. Charli is a young influencer and a lot of her fans are minors. On the other hand, WAP is a very explicit song.
And here one of Charli D’Amelio’s fans is trying her best to make the other one understand the sensitivity of this topic.

We all think that Charli shouldn’t post the video. Not even for a mere second.
Long story short, we all have different mindsets. Like some fans want her to post it because it’s no big deal. While others think that she is a minor and listening to her mother Heidi D’Amelio at this time would be a good decision.
