For Millennials. By Millennials.
In order to eliminate hunger and provide nutritious food to children, Kristen Bell’s company, This Saves Lives, is giving away food packages. This company is best known for its snacks like granola bars and crispy treats.
Not only is she an incredible actor, Kristen Bell’s parenting advice is very helpful
Initially, she worked in theater plays and advertisements. However, her appearance in a Broadway musical gave her breakthrough. In 2001, Bell made her film debut in Pootie Tang. But it was Veronica Mars which brought her in spotlight. After that, there was no looking back for Kristen Bell. Since then, she has appeared in films like Frozen, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Couples Retreat and TV shows like The Good Place.
Time and again, her parenting advice has helped her fans. During coronavirus quarantine, Kristen Bell made a huge list of online study resources, games, story-telling websites and other informative websites for parents. When talking about joys of parenting, she said:
Having kids feels like that first seventh-grade crush that overwhelms every molecule in your body, but it’s permanent. … Other than the sleep deprivation in the beginning and trying to figure out how not to screw your kid up, the rewards are mountains larger than the battles.
With the help of her co-actor, Kristen Bell’s company, This Saves Lives, was founded to fight malnutrition
While their aim is to battle childhood malnutrition worldwide, they also donate to Action Against Hunger. It helps the organization provide nutritious food packets to children.
When talking about Kristen Bell’s company, she said:
“It was honestly figuring it out in a world where we had never swam before. Ryan and I were both actors and Todd Grinnell and Ravi Patel also knew the business, so we were like, “Let’s figure it out. Let’s cold call people and put together this company with the main intention to have it be a one for one, deliver food aid to the charities that needed it. Let them know where to drop it. Let them get it to the kids. We don’t know how to do that. We would botch it. So trust the people who know what they’re doing. We sourced everything really ethically to the standards of what we would feed ourselves and our children and somehow it came about.”
Other than her, Ryan Devlin, Todd Grinnell and Ravi Patel are the co-founders of the company.
In this difficult time, Kristen Bell’s company will continue battling hunger and malnutrition.
In an Instagram post, she explained how her snacks company is going to help out and provide food for people in need. She wrote:
For those of y’all looking for snacks to eat at home, This Bar is a company I co-founded that, for every product sold, matches it by giving away a life-saving nutritional packet to a child in need. I’m also excited theyre launching new krispy treats for kids which have a FULL serving of fruits & veggies in them, are peanut & allergen free, and of course give back!
While these are scary times, it is good to see people like Bell giving back to the community.
