Last October, Mike Flanagan’s The Haunting Of Hill House premiered on Netflix as a Halloween gift. It almost instantly became a massive hit. The show’s writing, direction and spectacular performances were all able to strike a chord, making it the best show to have arrived originally at Netflix. When the show wrapped up, its show-runner concluded that he was done with narrating stories about the lead Crain family. He also mentioned that if The Haunting Of Hill House Season 2 is to happen, it will probably follow an anthology format. Netflix; however, is yet to renew the show. And this is mostly because of the fact that the creative team is still working on ideas for another season. The show’s Instagram account has introduced several of its ghosts. It sheds light on Poppy, William, Hazel, and Edward. And sometimes, it even goes on to mention them multiple times. For instance, the Instagram page first introduced Hazel as an unappreciated matriarch. Later again, it posted a video addressing Hazel’s nature.
Similarly, the Instagram account also gave attention to the corpse of Edward Hill. It mentions how the body was ‘burned, and rat-eaten’. It is also mentioned that Poppy and Hazel blamed each other for the murder of the Hill children. But no clarification is given as to who was the real culprit.
