Ray Romano In Pop Tv’s One Day At A Time Season 4

Pop Tv’s One Day At A Time Season 4 follows the trend of casting popular stars in guest roles as Ray Romano is appearing in the premiere episode in a cameo character. Entertainment Weekly has confirmed that premiere of One Day at a Time season 4 will show  Ray Romano playing Brian, a member of 2020 U.S. Census staff. Romano will interview the family members in this episode.

Although Ray Romano is a fresh face for the Alvarez family, yet, the co-creator and co-showrunner of One Day At A Time, Mike Royce, is pretty familiar with the stand-up comedian. Royce, in fact, was the executive producer of  Everybody Loves Raymond, (the iconic Ray Romano’s  CBS sitcom). Moreover, Mike also served as the co-creator of Romano’s TNT dramedy Men of a Certain Age.

The stand-up Comedian, Actor, and Screenwriter, Ray Romano is better known as Raymond Barone from  CBS’ Everybody Love Raymond. He, incredibly, performed in the show for nine long seasons (1996 to 2005). In addition, Romano is also known for his roles in The Irishman, Parenthood, Get Shorty and Vinyl.

One Day At A Time season 4 Speeding Up For The March Release

One Day At A Time season 4  is bringing the regular faces in this fourth season. Fans can watch their favorites: Justina Machado as Penelope, Isabella Gomez as Elena, Rita Moreno as Lydia, Stephen Tobolowsky as Leslie, Marcel Ruiz as Alex and Todd Grinnell as Schneider very soon.

According to the authorized announcement, One Day At A Time Season 4 will premiere at 9:30 on Tuesday, March 24 following the fresh episode of Schitt’s Creek. The show will gain the 9 p.m. slot on April 14, after the completion of Schitt’s Creek sixth and final season.

As a matter of fact, Pop TV’s  (Monday, January 27) announcement revealed that the filming of ODAAT Season 4 will begin Tuesday, January 28. The premiere episode will film live at Sony Pictures Television in Culver City. Studio audience can watch Ray Romano as a Census officer taking an interview with the family members.

One Day at a Time

One Day at a Time is one of the best American comedy web television series. Norman Lear’s sitcom of the same name, in fact, parented this adaptation. The show features a Hispanic family residing in the Los Angeles vicinity Echo Park. It’s about an Army veteran single mom facing multiple challenges like PTSD, her kids, and her overbearing mother.

ODAAT, in fact, was once listed as  Netflix original- ‘One of the best television shows of 2017.’ Netflix canceled the show after telecasting three subsequent seasons of the show. Then, Pop Tv stepped ahead and announced the revival of the series in 2020.
