One Day At A Time Season 4 | Move From Netflix To Pop TV
Netflix cancelled the show 3 months back in March. Cancellation ended up causing a massive reaction from the ODAAT fans who started the #SaveODAAT campaign. Everyone from the cast & crew came out to support the fans and continue a very strong campaign for show’s renewal. Gloria Kellett called it a No-Shame campaign since they were all looking for a new home.
Initially, Pop and The CW showed interest in the series. But it seems like Pop won the battle. However, production remains in the hands of Sony Pictures TV. Pop TV is also the one to bring Schitt’s Creek to US fans.

Norman Lear on Show’s Revival
One Day At A Time is a reboot of the sitcom created by Norman Lear in 1975. The show revolves around Alvarez family which involves an Army Veteran, her Cuban-American family, and two children.
Three months ago, I was heartbroken with the news of our beloved One Day at a Time’s cancellation. Today, I’m overwhelmed with joy to know the Alvarez family will live on.
The show beautifully addresses parenthood, LGBTQ representation and mental health. Pop has gifted the LGBTQ community with the show’s renewal in the Pride Month. Pop TV President Brad Schwartz said in a statement:
If Schitt’s Creek has taught us anything, it’s that love and kindness always wins…We couldn’t be more proud to continue telling heartwarming stories of love, inclusion, acceptance and diversity that pull on your emotions while putting a smile on your face.
Thank you, my friend, for your love and support! I will always answer your FaceTime call even if I look like a loca! #MoreODAAT https://t.co/36G9ZQkLEX
