The Falcon and the Winter Soldier star Sebastian Stan posted a video on Instagram to celebrate Bucky Barnes’ birthday. Barnes has an official birthday as per Marvel Cinematic Universe and Stan made sure that his character enjoyed his big day. It was back in Captain America: The First Avenger when Stan first debuted in a Marvel film, alongside Chris Evans. Later, he reprised his role a few more times with his latest movie being Avengers: Endgame. With Phase 4 officially starting with the release of Black Widow, we will see Bucky once again, starring next to Anthony Mackie.
Sebastian Stan Blows Candles For Bucky Barnes’ Birthday
The culmination of the Infinity phase might have ended storylines for a few superheroes including Captain America and Iron Man. However, Sam Wilson and Bucky Barnes will likely continue in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier show. With the MCU officially branching out into television series as well via Disney + streaming service, things look interesting already. There is going to be a new Captain America and we want to see how it is going to happen.
Unfortunately, Sebastian Stan’s show might have to wait a little longer as productions have paused due to coronavirus. And so, the crew found time to celebrate Bucky Barne’s birthday while on a break. Stan posted the cake cutting moment on Instagram. Dressing in a full costume he blew the candles while a team member filmed it. You can check out the video below:

Now, before you guys raise eyebrows after looking at the number on the cake, we think it was a mistake too. Sebastian Stan’s character was born on March 10 of 1917. However, his upcoming show as Bucky Barnes starts right after Endgame events, following the five-year MCU time jump. That means that the timeline is in the year 2023. Hence, Barnes should be 106 rather than 107.
