Well, the process was quite simple, Kaling texted Kinsely that ‘there was a role’, and they sealed the deal. That’s it. That simple. Kinsley’s latest post about her casting reflects the actress’ faith in friend Mindy Kaling’s creative. The actresses had shared screen space on NBC’s groundbreaking comedy ‘The Office’. There, the two bonded. And now, 15 years into the premiere of the show, the stars still cherish their camaraderie.

Kinsey even stated that she was available for all the ‘mom roles’ Kaling had to offer her. She praised the show’s writing and cast and expressed that she is looking forward to more ventures.
