Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson released from the hospital
Their son, Chet Hanks, made the announcement in an Instagram video. He also took a moment to talk about other victims of the coronavirus outbreak.
[My parents] are out of the hospital. They are feeling a lot better and are in self-quarantine. I just want to say, anyone else out there that has loved ones, or if you yourself are inflicted with the virus, my prayers go out to you, because a lot of people are suffering other than my parents right now. I just wish everyone a swift and speedy recovery.
Tom Hanks is probably the most famous person yet to contract the virus. And he took this opportunity to talk about the heroes in this crisis. Healthcare workers and doctors are working day and night during this time. They are the ones putting themselves in danger to help others. A large number of initial cases were just doctors and nurses helping out the patients. Also, it is important to remain calm and not panic. Rita Wilson compiled a playlist of ‘Quarantunes‘ for those in isolation.
Thanks to the Helpers. Let’s take care of ourselves and each other. Hanx pic.twitter.com/09gCdvzGcO

The coronavirus pandemic
Unfortunately, the future looks very bleak. The virus is spreading exponentially outside of China. Moreover, Tom Hanks isn’t the only celebrity fallen victim to the coronavirus. Additionally, Idris Elba and Kristofer Hivju (Tormund from GOT) have also been diagnosed for coronavirus.

It is important to remain calm and educate yourself about the pandemic. Avoid gatherings and wash your hands. But more importantly, do not spread rumors and fake news about the outbreak.
