Amazon Prime finally shared the teaser trailer of its f****** amazing series The Boys Season 2. Though we already knew about the season 2 announcement. However; the showrunners kept the cast reveal a secret. I highly doubted the return of The Deep (Chace Crawford) and A-Train (Jessie T. Usher). Well, they are returning with their whole gang of Supes including Homelander, Starlight, Queen Maeve, Black Noir and the newcomer Aya Cash. The teaser clearly shows we’ll be getting more violence, more bloodshed and Homelander strangling Starlight.
As per the cliffhanger that had everyone screaming, Billy Butcher’s wife Becca is alive and raising a child. Who is the father of the child? Billy Butcher or Homelander? Probably we’ll get the details in The Boys season 2 as Butcher will definitely be asking questions. We also knew Starlight (Erin Moriarty), Homelander (Antony Starr), Black Noir (Nathan Mitchell), Queen Maeve (Dominique McElligott) and the boys including Billy Butcher (Karl Urban), Hughie (Jack Quaid), Mother’s Milk (Laz Alonso), Frenchie (Tomer Capon), The Female/Kimiko (Karen Fukuhara) are returning in season 2. Moreover, the inclusion of Aya Cash as a new Supe was also confirmed.
The cast has been revealed, to some extent, in the teaser. Ashley Barrett (Colby Minifie) is still a part of the series. Madelyn Stillwell’s death might have brought her back in the Supes game. We also get a short glimpse of Billy Butcher’s terror (dog). Giancarlo Giuseppe Alessandro Esposito (famous as Gus Fring of Breaking Bad) returns as Vought Executive.
Well, who will be the new handler of The Seven? Is Ashley being promoted to replace the dead Stillwell? Why they didn’t show Aya Cash, who joined The Seven as the new Supe Stormfront in season 2. We have seen all the Behind-the-scenes of The Boys season 2 with Aya Cash and other cast members. Are they hiding her superpowers? That’s diabolical.
Also hoping they show more of Black Noir this time. Oh, and can someone tell who is that guy in the cap blowing The Boys at 0:52 of the trailer?
