Tekashi 6ix9ine Released 4 Months Before The Sentence Completion

Published by

Daniel Hernandez aka Tekashi 6ix9ine’s prison release comes four months prior to his 2-year sentence completion. KOODA singer’s asthmatic condition was the reason behind the relaxation.

In a letter to concerned authorities, Hernandez’s attorney, Lance Lazzaro, appealed for his client’s early release. According to Lance, Tekashi 6ix9ine’s prison release was the need of the hour amid Coronavirus pandemic. He added that Tekashi69 is asthmatic and sensitive to COVID-19. If contracted, the novel virus will further deteriorate his health.

Tekashi 69 has severe asthma and was recently hospitalized for bronchitis. He is vulnerable to coronavirus.

The request was rejected by the Federal Judge the first time. He advised Hernandez to contact the Bureau of Prisons because he doesn’t have the authority in this matter. However, the Bureau, also couldn’t help much and guided Tekashi 6ix9ine to the US Marshals.

Lazzaro went back to the New York District Judge after completing all the prerequisites. This time their appeal was accepted and Tekashi 69 was given a home confinement sentence. The judge also showed his concern and said that he would have given a different judgment if he knew about the SARS-CoV-2’s seriousness.

Had the court known that sentencing Mr. Daniel to serve the final four months of his term in a federal prison would have exposed him to a heightened health risk, the Court would have directed that these four months be served instead in home confinement.

What did Tekashi 6ix9ine do?

Tekashi 69 was a part of Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods. The notorious gang was associated with criminal activities like drug trafficking and murder. 69 was charged with federal racketeering and possession of illegal weapons.

GUMMO star was expecting decades behind bars but a deal with authorities reduced it down two. The young rapper agreed to testify against other gang members and the deal might also see him under witness protection now.

Cardi B was also a member of Tekashi’s gang

The testimony also pointed towards famous rapper Cardi B. According to the statement, Bad singer Cardi B was also a member of the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods gang. She initially denied any links but then accepted it later in an interview with GQ in 2018.

I used to pop off with my homies and they’d say, ‘Yo, you really get it poppin’. You should come home. You should turn Blood.’ And I did. Yes, I did. And something that — it’s not like, oh, you leave. You don’t leave.

There have been no further comments on the issue by Cardi B.

Let’s see if Tekashi’s deal with the government helps in making the streets of New York safer. Dankanator will keep you updated.
