The production of director Ridley Scott’s ‘House of Gucci’ biography has sparked a lot of buzz. Even though the film isn’t due to hit theaters until November. With several real-life characters featured in the Adam Driver/Lady Gaga-led ensemble, it appears that the buzz around Gaga’s portrayal as Patrizia Reggiani isn’t all terrible. In fact, in a recent interview, Gaga’s ‘House of Gucci’ co-star Salma Hayek offered her a major vote of confidence.

Salma Hayek had immense praise for Lady Gaga’s acting

During a cover story interview for Variety regarding the upcoming film, Hayek had nothing but words of praise for the musician turned actress, Lady Gaga. She recalled a phone call with the singer, commending how she had come into the role of Patrizia Reggiani.

Specifically, how Lady Gaga had perfected the accent. “She was already Patrizia,” shared Hayek. Salma Hayek added that Lady Gaga had a talent for accents. A skill which not even the most talented actors have!

Gaga had an amazing ear, according to Hayek, and was a great improviser. Gaga was able to go with the flow of the scene and knew what form her character had to be in. Hayek was excited and looking forward to working with the diva and eagerly anticipating working together for the upcoming film.
