In 2007, she appeared on the cover of Maxim’s calendar. Thus began her career in modeling and TV. Since then, Chrissy Teigen has campaigned for Nike, Gillette, Olay, Gap Factory, Billabong, Nine West and Beach Bunny Swimwear. Not only that, but she has also been a guest host on E!, TMZ, MTV and Extra with Mario Lopez. From 2011 to 2014, she was a part of the Sports Illustrated Swimwear Issue. In 2013, she appeared in the music video of her husband, John Legend’s song, ‘All of Me’ which is inspired by their relationship.

With time, Teigen explored her love for food and cooking. In 2016, she published her cooking book, ‘Cravings: Recipes for All of the Food You Want to Eat’. After the success of that book, she released another book and her cookware line with ‘Target called Cravings’ by Chrissy Teigen.

Recently, she posted a tweet and announced that she would be making her first Gulab Jamun
Gulab Jamun is a sweet which is popular all over the world but mostly in South Asian countries like India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Nepal. In her tweet, Chrissy Teigen asked for tips for Gulab Jamun and expressed her excitement about making them for the first time.

-knead the flour by hand, it gives it the suppleness it needs
-syrup has to be thick, runny syrup is shit syrup
-add cardamom and rose essence, hence Gulab, and saffron to the syrup

Meanwhile, another follower shared her own recipe of making Gulab Jamun which must be really helpful for Teigen.
Make sure the gulab jamun are COMPLETELY cool before putting in sugar syrup otherwise they will disintegrate! And be very careful with oil temp lest the jamuns become too oily or end up raw inside. Be sure to soak at least overnight!
