Everybody is probably really glad that popular singer Demi Lovato is out of rehab. And she is doing just great. Apart from the recent collab with James Charles, we heard that she might even be dating a designer. But seems like the singer is now checking out everything that she might have recently missed- that includes an invite to Nick Jonas’ wedding. The Jonas Brothers and Lovato have always been close for as long as we know. But despite having an elaborate wedding that featured many guest celebrities, Demi was missing.
According to reports, the singer was very hurt that she did not receive an invite. But before you start blaming Nick, let’s follow the trail of their friendship. Were things going wrong because Demi reportedly unfollowed Nick from her Instagram after her overdose? Although that’s true, we might not know the reason.
Why Was Demi Lovato not Invited to the Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra Wedding?
The American singer Nick Jonas and Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra got married in an elaborate ceremony last month in India. The most decadent wedding of the year was attended by many great celebrities from both nations. But even then, did you spot someone missing? Well, there was and it was none other than Demi Lovato. Despite her being best friends with the Jonas brothers since forever, the wedding invite never reached her.
According to the US Magazine, Lovato was deeply upset when she was not invited to the lavish wedding. A source informed the magazine that it broke her heart. And as awkward as it seems between the two stars, fans are still wondering why this might have happened. When Lovato was admitted to the hospital after a drug overdose, Nick was worried about her. He even tweeted that they all loved her and were praying that she gets well very soon.
But before everybody starts blaming Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra for not sending Demi an invite, let’s consider that his actions may not have been completely unreasonable. Apparently, after her overdose, she unfollowed Nick on Instagram. So that suggests that their friendship might not have been doing great after all. But what really happened between the two is not known yet because handling it like adults, the two did not make it public.
Even then, who wouldn’t be upset if they didn’t receive an invite to the most talked-about wedding of the year?
