The show is based on the book series by Karen McManus and follows the story of some high schoolers who become suspects in the complicated murder of their controversial classmate.

For those who have seen the show, you would recall that the group, Addy (Annalisa Cochrane), Bronwyn (Marianly Tejada), Cooper (Chibuikem Uche), Nate (Cooper van Grootel), and Janae (Jessica McLeod) figure out the mystery of Simon’s (Mark McKenna) death. Though, not without their painfully dark secrets coming to light. In the process though, they come up with a much bigger problem and accidentally end up killing Simon’s murderer, Jake (Barrett Carnahan). It was definitely a shocking twist that no one saw coming.

Then, in the end, we saw that someone got to know about their dark secret and is now torturing them similar to how Jake did with the game of ‘Simon Says’. Those who were responsible for Jake’s murder must now play the twisted game of Simon Says.

Executive producer and writer Erica Saleh is serving as the showrunner for One Of Us Is Lying season 2, so we’ll definitely see something new. Previously, it was Darío Madrona, who will now just be an executive producer. Moreover, Bill Johnson, Jan Oxenberg, John Sacchi, Molly Nussbaum, and Matt Groesch will also be there as executive producers.

Apart from the core group, we’ll also see Sara Thompson (plays Vanessa), Melissa Collazo (Maeve), and Alimi Ballard (Kevin) reprise their roles. Stay tuned for more updates about the show.
