The latest feature is like a virtual get together and lets you watch movies and tv shows online with a group of friends. A chat room is part of the package when you download Netflix Party for free, so you can share your thoughts during the watch party.
Kast streaming app’s parties, however, are different and less popular but it’s still worth a shot. When you host a watch party on Kast, you’re basically sharing your screen and that’s about it. Unlike Netflix Party, it does not come with its collection of movies and tv-shows.
Kast streaming app’s video sharing, video and voice calls make it easier to stay in touch with your colleagues and loved ones.
How to Host a Netflix Watch Party?
It is quite simple. To create a party, click on the NP tab next to the address bar. Click Start Party and invite your loved ones with an automatically generated URL.
To join a Netflix watch party, follow the dedicated URL. Once on the website, click on the red NP icon to automatically join the virtual gathering.
Keep in mind that this is only available as a Google Chrome Extension on laptops and desktops.
