The Legacies to air Musical Episode

The Legacies is the spin-off of The Vampire Diaries and The Originals. The two shows had 8 and 5 seasons respectively. Legacies itself is in its second season. The show follows the chronicles of the supernatural kids who go to the Salvatore Boarding School for the magically gifted. It stars the infamous Klaus Mikaelson’s (Joseph Morgan) daughter, Hope Mikaelson (Danielle Rose Russell), alongside Alaric Saltzman (Matthew Davis) and Caroline Forbes (Candice King)’s girls Lizzie and Josie (Jenny Rooski and Kaylee Bryant).

The three girls, in spite of their differences, fight monsters left behind by their families. The Legacies has also attracted quite an audience of its own. However, not forgetting its origin, the show often has easter eggs commemorating The Vampire Diaries and The Originals. Recently, TV Guide revealed that Legacies is going to have a musical episode. Episode 19 to be specific.

What will The Legacies musical episode have?

Brent Matthews, the executive producer of The Legacies says,

Episode 19 is our grand musical episode. We try to do a musical a year, and it’s a musical that will sort of be revisiting our legacies — the legacy of the show, The Vampire Diaries and The Originals universe.

So, Season 2 of the show has already gone ways we couldn’t imagine a Vampire Diaries spin-off. The teenagers got stuck in a video game! And their lives are spent facing encounters like this every episode. So, the question is, how will they be a part of a musical? So, would they have a school musical? Will they be stuck in a weird land that’s all music?

Also, something that I thought of when I heard of this musical episode was: What if it is a flashback? Hope and the girls at the Mikaelson ball from TVD season 3. Or, at Hayley’s wedding. Or, one of the Miss Mystic Falls pageants. Well, we can only wait and see how it plays out.
