For Millennials. By Millennials.
Another day, another fan-favorite Netflix show gets cut off. Tan France’s Next in Fashion canceled after just one season. While it may not come back on Netflix, there is hope to revive it elsewhere.
While there are many fashion competitions, Tan France’s show was unique for a particular reason
Hosted by Queer Eye’s Tan France and the cool girl, Alexa Chung, Next in Fashion has to be one of the most stylish shows with tremendously talented contestants. The winner, Minju Kim, not only won the prize money of $250,000, but she also stole our hearts with her humor and humility. On the surface, Next in Fashion is another competition for designers and fashion lovers. However, it is also one of the most diverse and inclusive reality shows. From India to Puerto Rico, from Korea to Mexico, the show includes contestants from all over the world. Not only that, but there are also contestants from different cultures, races, ages and sexual orientations. In this regard, Tan France’s show has stepped up with its inclusive quality. However, now it is confirmed that Next in Fashion canceled by Netflix.

After one amazing season, Next in Fashion canceled and would not return to Netflix.
Lately, Netflix has started canceling shows more frequently. Mostly, these shows end after just one season. Similarly, Next in Fashion canceled after one season. Tan France himself has confirmed the news and said:
“We’re not doing a second a season. This is a one-season show, we don’t know what will happen in the future. But it was honestly one of the proudest things I’ve ever worked on. I love the show and Alexa so much. My focus is definitely on ‘Queer Eye’ and moving forward with that.”
