Shawn Mendes announces new music album ‘Wonder’

The pop star, Shawn Mendes’s fourth album officially came out on October 2^nd. Yes, you Mend-heads heard us right! Our very own charming Shawn is ready to take us to his wonderland and we are way too excited for this magical tale.

The ‘Señorita’ singer announced the release of his fourth Album by sharing with us a teaser of what ‘Wonder’ would be like.

Trailer Release

Shawn took to social media to share the trailer release of his new album and single. He shared a letter on Twitter and Instagram telling fans all about his efforts that went into writing the album. Mendes started off by addressing how he has missed his fans:

“I’ve missed you all so much! I know it’s been a really scary year for everyone so I’m sending buckets of love to all of you.”

He then described his album coming out in December and added:

“It really feels like a piece of me has been written down on paper and recorded into song. I tried to be as real and as honest as I’ve ever been. It’s a world and a journey and a dream and an album I’ve been wanting to make for a really long time.”

 

He also shared the trailer for his song. In the trailer, a tank-top-clad Shawn is seen lying on his mattress in a cluttered apartment filled with his delicate falsetto. Later he walks through the apartment before opening a window and being moved to a beach.

 

The upcoming Album will be Shawn’s fourth after a string of projects. The singer’s first three records were certified platinum after debuting at the top of the charts.

Camilla Cabello supports Shawn Mendes

This is Shawn’s first new song after his two 2019 singles: “If I Can’t Have You” and “Señorita,”. The latter of which was a collaboration with now girlfriend Camilla Cabello. Speaking of Camilla, the young singer did not let go of the opportunity to applaud her boyfriend, Shawn. She posted the trailer of Shawn’s album on Instagram and wrote:

“The world could use some magic, beauty, and Wonder always, but especially right now. @shawnmendes what a gorgeous gift to the world. He’s crafted this album with every last bit of his soul, his spirit, and his essence with the purest of intentions. My love, I’m so proud of the person you are and I’m so excited for people to see and hear your heart.”

And in case you were doubting the two’s relationship because of their lack of public appearances. This is the evidence that Shawn and Camilla still seem to be going strong.
