Ross Butler Initiates ‘Unconditional‘ to Stop Animal Killing in Shelters
The 13 Reasons Why actor took to Instagram and Twitter to share his new initiative. In order to celebrate National Pets Day, he launched his campaign Unconditional. This is a campaign that sells dog-themed t-shirts to benefit Best Friends Animal Society, a national animal welfare organization that runs the largest no-kill animal shelter in the United States and actively campaigns to end euthanization across the country.
He shared a picture of himself dressed as a superhero and cuddling a dog. Alongside it, he added in the caption that he loved dogs. In fact, so much so that if he had superpowers he would use them to save all the dogs that he could.
But since he can’t, he was going to build a platform to raise awareness about animal killing and related issues. Butler has always imagined the idea of animal shelters where they do not kill animals. Therefore, with his new campaign, he coordinated with certain companies to create a deal where profits from the selling of his shirts merchandise would be sent to stop the killing of animals in shelter homes. Sadly, 1.5 million shelter animals are killed every year in animal shelters in the US due to a lack of resources to support them.
Ross Butler also proposed the idea that people should donate to this cause by buying shirts. They can also start adopting more dogs.
