PewDiePie hits back at Dhar Mann as their feud rekindles

Published by

Remember the feud between PewDiePie and Dhar Mann? Well, it seems like that feud has been rekindled recently after Dhar Mann again criticized Felix Kjellberg in one of his videos. And now, Felix has finally responded to his video, saying that Dhar really doesn’t have a stomach for criticism.

For those of you who don’t know, Dhar Mann is not very fond of his fellow YouTuber

For those of you who don’t know, Dhar Mann is a famous YouTuber and entrepreneur known for his motivational videos and has over 10 million subscribers. He also has a huge following on Instagram as well as TikTok, but he’s most famous for his YouTube videos. It usually involves optimism (sometimes toxic) triumphing over pessimism. But, Dhar has also received his fair share of criticism over the years. Many have called his videos cringe, with bad acting and storylines. And one of them happened to be PewDiePie.

Felix reacted to one of Dhar’s videos and basically called his videos cringe and said:

I already hate it. Dhar Mann Fam? It doesn’t make any sense. I didn’t think it would annoy me so much. ‘Keep changing lives,’ how? Dumb, I hate it.

But, Dhar Mann did not take his words lightly at all. In return, back in June, Dhar used the clip of Felix criticizing his videos, saying how he doesn’t respond to such hateful criticism. And instead, focuses more on people who love him. He made PewDiePie’s words seem hateful in his video. And in response, Felix said that it was all a joke, but still stood by his criticism and said Dhar Mann blew his words out of proportion. He added:

Even if you try to do a positive message, which is great, it was delivered so poorly. There’s no way you could understand it. And if anything, it just misconstrued [the message]… I don’t think just because you are trying to do something good, that you are above criticism.

In the end, Felix made sure that everyone knew he had no acrimony with Dhar Mann, saying:

It seemed like Dhar Mann took it in stride until I saw this. So I don’t know. I don’t care… Just know I have no actual ill will towards him. Not trying to cause tea here. He’s doing his thing, I’m doing my thing.

PewDiePie talks about the whole Dhar Mann fiasco again

Ever since then, we didn’t see either of the two talk about each other. That is, until recently on September 1st, when PewDiePie uploaded another video, touching on the subject with fellow YouTuber CinnamonToastKen. Felix said again:

We didn’t say anything about Dhar Mann himself. We criticized the video. And I think it was fair criticism. Now I actually feel bad.

Felix was truly astounded by seeing how the 37-year-old entrepreneur reacted to his jokes. He did feel bad about how Dhar Mann took his comments, but PewDiePie again shared his criticism, saying he should learn from them:

What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger. You gotta be able to deal with some comments. And you know what, I’ve also had to deal with a lot of hate comments. You gotta have some balls man. If you get criticism, it can help build character. It helped me grow a lot of confidence. And it doesn’t necessarily have to be a bad thing. Obviously commenting on somebody else’s appearance, that is just bullying and stupid. But criticism on your videos can actually be helpful.

PewDiePie again clarified that he did not make fun of Dhar Mann himself and has nothing personal against him

Ken further asked Felix that does he think Dhar can’t take criticism, to which PewDiePie responded:

From this reaction, I kind of, yeah. The whole goal that views are the only thing that matters, yeah. I kind of have a problem with that way of looking at things. But then again, that’s his opinion. He’s right to have that.

However, despite the jokes, Felix again clarified that he doesn’t have any ill will against Dhar. He was merely making fun of the content he posted, saying:

People are making fun of the video. Not the people in the video. We know they are just actors and kids. Kind of lame, dude. Other than that, I don’t really care… He’s free to do what he wants. I got nothing against him. I think it’s cool that he’s trying to do positive videos.
