Following the success of the first edition of the rom-com, Netflix gave a nod to a fresh version of To All The Boys I Have Love Before in December. The original screenplay followed the plot of Jenny Hann’s novel of the same namesake and starred Noah Centineo and Lana Condor in the lead roles. Now that Netflix has picked up To All The Boys I Have Loved Before 2 for an early 2020 release date, its principal cast is reuniting to commence shoot for the movie. The shoot for TATB2 has finally begun. Just today, the film’s lead star Noah Centineo has voyaged to Los Angeles to allow the filming the commence. Centineo has confirmed the development via his various social media handles.
In fact, his recent tweet reads “TATB2 here we come.”
Noah Centineo’s tweet also caught the attention of his co-star Lana Condor.
Condor, who is yet to fly to L.A., expressed that she can’t wait to see Centineo after a really long time.
To All The Boys I Have Loved Before has made Noah Centineo Netflix’s blue eyed boy. Almost immediately after TATB, Centineo starred in the Netflix film Sierra Burgess Is A Loser. Centineo’s latest work, “The Perfect Date” is yet again a Netflix project. The film which also stars Riverdale actress Camila Mendes opposite Centineo will premiere on Netflix on April 12th.
Just as he announced the inauguration of shoot for TATB2, Centineo must gave obviously expected for the first questions to be about the To All The Boys I Have Loved Before 2 release date. But the reality turned out to be different. Fans apparently has other dilemmas that they wanted to be addressed promptly. BuzzFeed producer Lindsay Webster, in particular, demanded Centineo to reveal who was playing Jon Ambrose in the movie.
Jordan Burtchett was the original John Ambrose on the rom-com. But now it appears that the To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before sequel has cast in an all-new actor for the part. While there isn’t any officially confirmation about the re- casting, it appears that the makers are looking forward to a complete revamp for all the characters. As for now, rumors of Luke Benward stepping into Burtchett’s shoes are doing rounds.
Netflix is normally notoriously secretive about sharing streaming numbers. The streamer; however, revealed that To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before—which was released in August to a full-fledged Internet frenzy—was one of its most-watched original movies ever. The movie; in fact, had a strong repeat viewing.
Although To All The Boys I Have Loved Before 2 does not have a release date yet, fans can expect it to be released soon. The shoot for the trailer will go on floors next month.
