For Millennials. By Millennials.
If you weren’t expecting Peacock by NBC to compete with the streaming giants, there is some bad news for you. NBC has dropped not one, but 9 trailers to hype-up the original content on its upcoming streaming service. These include the first sneak-peek into the much-anticipated remakes of ‘Punky Brewster’ and ‘Saved by the Bell’, as well as teasers for new shows including ‘Angelyne’,’Brave New World’, ‘Intelligence’, and ‘The Capture’. Apart from TV shows, Peacock will also roll out a few original films like Psych 2: Lassie Come Home, while also housing former NBC hits like ‘The Office’ and ‘Parks and Recreation’. In fact, part of NBC’s existing line-up is getting a digital shake-up. For instance, A.P. Bio starring Glenn Howerton will air its season 3 exclusively on NBC Peacock rather than the TV network.
While the long-awaited Punky Brewster and Saved By The Bell remakes are headlining original content on NBC Peacock, the new shows are just as exciting.
Brave New World – NBC Peacock Original
Brave New World on NBC Peacock is really telling Margaret Atwood to take a seat. Leaning towards a head-on rivalry with Hulu, ‘Brave New World’ is Peacock’s utopian answer to the dystopian ‘Handmaid’s Tale’. In the yearned-for adaptation of Aldous Huxley’s 1932 novel, Alden Ehrenreich, Harry Lloyd, and Jessica Brown Findlay establish a peaceful society. There is no space for monogamy, privacy, money, family or history. And how this plays out? Well we will have to wait for the David Wiener show to hit our screens.

The Capture -NBC Peacock Original
The BBC spy drama The Capture stars Strike’s Holliday Grainger and Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald’s Callum Turner. It won’t be out on the service until 2021 most probably.

Intelligence
Well, it is a comedy series with David Schwimmer in it? Need to say anymore? Well, the penman is Nick Mohammed so it has to be a delight. Nick also co-stars with Schwimmer in the show. (Double delight). Intelligence will see Schwimmer as a maverick American intelligence agent while Nick will play a hapless British computer analyst.
Angelyne – NBC Peacock Original
Shameless’ Emmy Rossum is the iconic Angelyne in this limited NBC Peacock series. So you better prepare to see Hollywood with its ugliest lens. Career peaks, career troughs, scandals, billboards, makeup, men, women, corvettes, the 80’s, lingerie, and UFOs.
