Forbes has just revealed their America’s Wealthiest Celebrities 2018 list. With some expected celebs up there on the list, one very unexpected celebrity is the lip kit mogul and reality star Kylie Jenner. Kylie is also the youngest millionaire on the list. She tied with Jay-Z and she is also shy of becoming a billionaire.
Kylie the Millionaire
Kylie Jenner made it to the Forbes’ America’s Wealthiest Celebrities 2018 list. It was very surprising to see that she was among one of two female celebrities that were among the top ten richest celebrities. And get this…her net worth has been estimated at $900 million. That is just $100 million shy of a billionaire.
The Youngest Millionaire
Kylie was the most unexpected person on Forbes’ America’s Wealthiest Celebrities 2018 list. Why? Well honestly, she is the youngest. Other people who have made this list are people who have reached their wealth over decades of work. And then there is this 21-year-old young lady who has definitely been making some hard cash to earn her a $900 million accumulated net worth. A staggering achievement, no doubt.
The Only Other Woman
Kylie is also the only other woman on Forbes’ America’s Wealthiest Celebrities 2018 list. The other is Oprah Winfrey with a net worth of $2.8 billion. Just to put it in perspective though. Oprah is 64 years old. She has been working in entertainment since she was Kylie’s age presently. Kylie has been making some smart moves in her business. Some that Oprah might have made later in her own business ventures. If Kylie keeps going like this, she will be trying with Oprah in little time.
Tying With Jay-Z
It is also interesting to see that she has tied with Jay-Z. Jay-Z is a hip-hop artist who has been in the music industry for almost three decades. He owns the streaming service TIDAL among many of his business ventures. In comparison. Kylie is known for the reality TV show Keeping Up with the Kardashians. She also has a lip kit business named “Kylie”. It has sold successfully around the world. Which can be attributed to her growing wealth.
Who Did She Beat?
The other question that did arise was who she beat on the Forbes’ America’s Wealthiest Celebrities 2018 list. She was not the last in the top 10. In fact, she beat James Patterson (author), Tiger Woods (golfer), David Copperfield (magician), and Diddy (hip hop artist). That is impressive no doubt.
On the Way to Billion
Kylie Jenner’s lip kit is blooming. It can be attributed to her growing wealth. However, let’s not forget her role as a reality star. It is her claim to fame. She has generated a lot of viewership because of her pregnancy with Travis Scott. She has been smart about strategy on how to accommodate her resources. That’s probably how she became to be known as a self-made billionaire.
