Jeffree Star Addresses Blood Lust Palette & Purple Issues

The iconic Blood Lust palette which is known as “the purple palette” by Jeffree Star is talk of the town. Previously we shared a full reveal of the Blood Lust Collection and now we have a  complete makeup tutorial and look on the man himself. He also took on board his best friend ‘Mmmmitchell’ who did the makeup with him. And together they spilled all the tea on this new eyeshadow palette. Keep reading to get all the news.

Blood Lust Palette look

So the creation was completely in the hands of Mitchell who was going to use the Blood Lust palette for this makeup look on Jeffree Star.

He first used ‘Blood Queen’,  then a little bit of ‘Vivid Mood’ and then the amazing new formula ‘Wet Jewel’. His trick is to apply the color in layers rather than going all in. This helps build up the pigment nicely.

After creating a deep purple crease, he took ‘Royal Pain’ a muted peachy flesh tone and applied it to the temples. And finally, time to apply the much-awaited ‘Wet Jewel’ which he applied on Jeffree’s brow-bone. And it is definitely one of the most beautiful shades in the palette! This one is Jeffree Star’s personal favorite, too!

Then ‘Take The Crown’, a beautiful lavender metallic was used in the inner corner. Finally, Mitchell used the new formula ‘Pink Magic’ on the lid. And it looked heavenly! To complete the look, he added a smokey liner in blue. Mitchel then applied his own lines’ lashes too. The new Xtreme Frost on the cheeks for a beaming glow. And the final look was super edgy, glam and fun. A treat to watch!

Final thoughts

Jeffree Star was totally “shook” by the makeup look as were we. He said Mitchell truly did the eye-shadow palette justice and this was by far one of his favorite makeup looks created by him.

The entire purple Blood Lust collection is all set to drop on February 21st. And this video is proof that we all need to get our hands on it ASAP.
