Jared Padalecki didn’t know about Supernatural Prequel

There was a lot of Supernatural drama going on when Jared Padalecki revealed that he did not know about the Supernatural prequel.

There is drama in Hollywood again. I am sure you have all heard about the famous show, Supernatural. It started in 2005 and due to the ensuing fame, it lasted 15 seasons, with the final episode released on November 19. 2020. Part of its now very famous cast includes Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles.

For 15 years, Jensen and Jared played brothers on screen. However, it seems like Jensen is spearheading a prequel about the famous brother’s parents which Padalecki was unaware of. The prequel is going to be called ‘The Winchesters’.

Jared Padalecki reacts to the news of a prequel

Surprisingly, Jared had no idea that there was going to be a prequel until Deadline broke the news last Thursday. Padalecki was obviously bummed that this is how he got the news of the prequel. He expected that someone had involved him when they started thinking about this project because he was a part of the show for so long. Jensen posted Deadline’s article on his Twitter account in which there was mention of the prequel. Jared Padalecki quote retweeted his tweet and said that he is happy for Jensen but he wishes he heard about this some other way than Twitter.

Dude. Happy for you. Wish I heard about this some way other than Twitter. I’m excited to watch but bummed that Sam Winchester had no involvement whatsoever.

People send their support to the actor

Some people thought that this was just a joke but Jared made it very clear that this was no joke. He replied to a fans’ tweet in which he said that this is the first time he has heard about this. Fans were obviously bummed because they thought Jared and Jensen were very close.

After reading Jared’s tweet, many people sent love to him. People also thought that Sam should have been involved in the prequel because they spent 15 years together on the show. Jared thanked all his fans for the love they have been giving him. He also asked people not to send hate or threat to anyone.

Jensen definitely needs to tell people why he did not include Jared in the prequel because he was part of the show for 15 years. We hope that Jared Padalecki and Jensen clear things out because we would hate to see two brothers fighting.
