James Charles Lets A-listed Celebrities Choose His Makeup Look

The popular makeup YouTuber James Charles is rocking the world with another glamorous look. But seems like he had some help from all A-listed celebrities with this one. Apparently, he needed product suggestions for which he directly messaged many Hollywood stars on their Instagram. Surprisingly enough, many including Kim Kardashian, Kylie Jenner, Rihanna, Shay Mitchell, Millie Bobby Brown and even Shawn Mendes reached out. While all these stars surely have millions of unanswered DM’s, they still took out time to help the young influencer.

What Made James Charles DM Popular Hollywood Celebrities?

In order to create his latest makeup look, Charles took up a challenge. He privately messaged celebrities asking for particular product suggestions depending on either their skin, their looks, their expertise or the fact that they had makeup lines for that particular product. But looks like even James was not even expecting these stars to respond back considering how busy their schedules must be.

What surprised James Charles the most was that Queen Rihanna reached back. She insisted that the YouTuber try out her Pro Filt-r foundation. Not just that, but she claimed she was honored and surprised that the beauty influencer thought of asking her suggestions. For the first few steps, he had help from Zara Larsson, Iggy Azalea and Millie Bobby Brown.

For eye-shadow recommendations, he consulted Kim Kardashian whom he also refers to as his mom. Looks like this one matched the timings perfectly since she recently launched her Sooo Fire eye shadow palette which James Charles did receive as a PR package. To complete his eye look, he used help with Paris Hilton and her mascara and lashes range. Surprisingly, the YouTuber did not know that Paris had her own range. He claimed that,

I’m not even going to lie, I didn’t even know Paris Hilton had a makeup line.

For his lip look, he reached out to Kylie Jenner who delivered one of her lip kits for Charles to perfect his look. And eventually, he was helped out with Shay Mitchell when it came to the perfect setting spray.

The celebrity inspired look of James Charles and all the responses he received makes it evident that he recovered from the Tati Westbrook scandal well.
