Although it may not feel like it, it has been more than 25 years after Clueless was released. The movie is a classic favorite and gave us many iconic quotes. Fans still rewatch the movie and it is still relatable. However, Alicia Silverstone, who played Cher Horowitz, is definitely not 18 anymore. The 43-year-old actress discussed her past on the 25 year anniversary of Clueless.
Is Alicia Silverstone still recognizable?
Alicia Silverstone confessed that even though the movie feels like yesterday, she doesn’t remember her 18 y/o self. And why would she? A lot has happened in the past two and a half decades. She went on to star in dozen of movies and shows, got married, had a child, and got divorced. However, Clueless is the single constant in her life. Alicia talked about how people still recognized her from the movie:
People are really respectful. Sometimes they’ll shout catchphrases, like ‘As If!’ but mostly they come up and are like, ‘I’m so sorry, I just have to tell you, you must get this a million times a day, but I love Clueless so much.’ People are always kind and loving about it.
Alicia also talked about her favorite moments from the movie. It was a line from Britanny Murphy’s Tai:

Hollywood couldn’t get rid of Alicia Silverstone so easily. Even after 25 years, she is still starring in big projects. Her latest comedy movie Bad Therapy was to be released on April 17. Moreover, she will also be appearing in Netflix’s adaptation of The Babysitter’s Club. However, her son has something else in mind for her. Apparently, the 8-year-old had some ideas for a Clueless sequel.
It was unbelievable what he thought. She was an alcoholic but he didn’t say those words. He was like, ‘She drinks a lot and maybe she’s a makeup artist?
Meanwhile, Paul Rudd has definitely made a huge name for himself. The “immortal” star featured in FRIENDS and now plays the role of Ant-Man in the MCU. Tai aka Britanny Murphy died tragically due to heart attack at the age of 32.
