Apparently, it seems to have taken a pretty serious take on the events which makes it really not suitable for children. In a tweet, the producer and showrunner Lauren S. Hissrich has herself warned that the show is definitely not for 5-year-old kids to watch. So, naturally, fans are pretty excited about the series. Despite Netflix not giving it out a rating, the tweet has been enough to make people believe that the show will be promising. The gritting and raunchy series might exactly be what you’re picturing from the novels and games. But well, unfortunately, there’s still almost a year before it finally comes out.

The producer and showrunner Lauren S. Hissrich has already made it clear via a tweet that this show is not for children. Especially, not for kids who are still 5 years of age or so. She revealed that she watched out a cut over the weekend and figured this out. In fact, she even added that it was a tale of a working mom in the hashtag.

Henry Cavill who is previously popular for his role as Superman was chosen for the role of Geralt of Rivia. With this latest update out, fans are pretty excited about the adult-oriented content that Witcher will bring to screens. The Witcher is based on the best-selling fantasy series about an epic tale of fate and family. And then the Geralt of Rivia struggles to find his place in a world where people are more wicked than beasts. But when destiny hurtles him toward a powerful sorceress and a young princess with a dangerous secret, the three learn to navigate the increasingly volatile Continent together.
