So, the internet recently recalled that Henry Cavill dated Gina Carano a while back. And for that reason, Cavill is getting some backlash from social media. And here’s the reason why.

Now, according to the LA Times, Henry Cavill dated Gina Carano back in 2013 when Man of Steel came out. Now, usually, celebrity dating doesn’t become a point of contention, but with Carano’s recent controversies, things changed a bit.

Gina Carano’s firing from The Mandalorian happened because of her controversial social media posts, in which she compared modern-day Republicans to the persecution of Jews by the Nazis in the Holocaust. As a result, Disney let her go after Carano received backlash on social media. She had also been sharing controversial posts in the past about face masks, voter fraud, the COVID-19 vaccine, and other political issues.
