Gal Gadot shares the details of how she accidentally cut part of her finger off back at the very start of the first lockdown last year.

We all know how indestructible Wonder Woman is. One can even say she might be the strongest of the Justice League apart from Superman. However, the actor who portrays her isn’t as high as her alter-ego in terms of strength. And that strength was tested while making a salad. Gal Gadot recently revealed that while living in lockdown, she accidentally cut off a part of her finger!

While talking on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Gadot recalled the horror story of how she literally lost a part of her. She said:

You know the early days of the pandemic when you start drinking mimosa or sangria or whatever at 11am… I did that. And then I decided I’m gonna make a cabbage salad, because that’s what one wants to do. So anyways I started to chop the thing and I chopped the top of my finger.

However, the story was far from over. Afterward, Gal Gadot’s husband Yaron actually threw the severed part into the garbage disposal. Yes, Gal Gadot’s finger went straight into the garbage, as she continued:

Yaron went to the chopping board, and he held the finger. Then he got so disgusted that he threw it into the garbage disposal. Yeah it was a mess, we were a mess. Then I stopped cooking and stopped drinking.

Afterward, Gadot revealed that she didn’t visit the hospital because there wasn’t any point going there. After all, there was “nothing to sew” back onto her finger. So, in case any one of Wonder Woman’s foes wants to defeat her, just get her drunk and compel her to make a salad.

Meanwhile, Gadot also revealed that she cried while watching her recent DC movie Wonder Woman 1984. She said:

I can’t tell you about the moment in the movie that made me cry other than it happens at the very beginning. I’ve never experienced that before. I was watching and all of a sudden I wasn’t the actress, the producer, or anything on set. I was a little girl from a suburb in Israel watching this amazing character doing such incredible things. And I’m not an easy crier. I’m not the kind of woman who watches commercials and cries. I just had such a strong reaction to this movie and it caught me off guard. Usually, I save my crying for special occasions… like when I’m pregnant!
