Fast and Furious 9  | Story

After watching the high-octane trailer, it’s pretty to easy to carve out the plot. Cipher (portrayed by Charlize Theron) is still after Dom (Vin Diesel) and his crew. This time, she has roped in Dom’s long-lost brother Jakob (John Cena) to inflict damage on Dom’s crew.

Although the reason behind Jakob’s hatred for Dom isn’t mentioned, it will be the driving force of the film for sure.

Moreover, it is also clear that Dom is forced to reassemble his crew to take down the threat. In the first few shots, we can see that he has settled down with Letty (Michelle Rodriguez) and his son.

The Cast

Most of the Principle cast hasn’t changed from the last film. Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, and Charlize Theron will be reprising their roles. Additionally, Jordana Brewster and Lucas Black will be returning to the franchise as Mia Toretto and Sean Boswell respectively.

Now let’s move to the SHOCKER part… Han (Sung Kang) will finally make his return to the Fast Saga with this film! It will be interesting to see how the film explains his return.

Fast and Furious 9 | The Soundtrack

One thing that the Fast and Furious films always get right is the music. From the trailer, it looks like this tradition will continue. While “See You Again” was played during the sweet moments of Dom with his son, DJ Snake’s “Frequency 75” joined the fray as soon as the action commenced to boost our adrenaline.

We are eagerly anticipating the release of F9’s full soundtrack.

The Action & Visuals

This goes without saying that the Fast Saga gets bigger and better with every film. F9 is no exception. Judging from the trailer, the upcoming film will feature flying cars, tripping trucks, Pontiac strapped to a rocket engine, and what not! Fast and Furious 9 looks like a live-action adaptation of Grand Theft Auto games… and for all the right reasons!

We can guarantee that the movie will be filled with breathtaking and “blink and you will miss it” spots. After all, it’s not every day that you get to see a car glued to a broken pole of a bridge attempting to reach the other side of the cliff from one.

Fast and Furious will hit theaters on May 22, 2020. Are you planning on watching it? And what do you have to say about the trailer? Let us know in the comments!
