Twitter reacts to Dr Dre’s daughter LaTanya Young being homeless

After Dr. Dre’s daughter revealed she was homeless, Twitter users began sharing their thoughts and analysis. While some supported the musician’s oldest daughter, LaTanya Young, others asked her to grow up. However, the rapper himself has not commented yet.

In a recent interview, Dr. Dre’s daughter shared her plight and revealed her father’s rejection.

The millionaire mega-star is a father of eight. However, LaTanya Young is his oldest daughter with whom he has a shaky relationship. When Dr. Dre’s daughter was only 5, he split from her mother. According to her, she has not seen her father for the last 18 years and communicates with only his team. Now she has revealed that she’s homeless and living in a rental car. Meanwhile, her kids are staying with friends. Dr. Dre’s daughter also said she works odd jobs as an Uber Eats delivery driver and an assembler at a warehouse. With the meager pay, she cannot afford a house or pay her debts. Until 2020, her father supported her but has stopped since. While talking about her father, she said:

His lawyer has said that my dad doesn’t want to help me because I’ve spoken about him in the press. I feel like I’m damned if I do, I’m damned if I don’t. I’m just trying to communicate with him and see if he wants to talk to his grandkids.

Twitter had a field day when the news of LaTanya Young’s suffering came out.

Like it has always been with Twitter, both sides had supporters. While most blamed the Beats owner for being a lousy parent, others spoke against Dr. Dre’s daughter. Meanwhile, many people could not get their heads around why someone who is worth 820 million would not pay their kids. Many people said his kids should not be poor and get their share.
