Chris Hemsworth Didn’t Allow His Trainer To Appear On ‘The Bachelor’

Chris Hemsworth may be the sweetest superhero on camera but things are a little different off-camera. Or it could just be that Chris is not a fan of The Bachelor? Whatever the case is, the actor forbade his trainer, Luke Zocchi, from finding love on The Bachelor.

The Bachelor is a reality TV series in which a single man dates a group of women over several weeks. In order to find his match, the girls have to compete and participate in a series of challenges to prove compatibility. He then picks the girl he has the most chemistry with.

So Chris Hemsworth’s trainer, Luke, was offered a spot on the Australian iteration of the dating show. However, when he asked for Chris’s approval, he got shot down immediately.

Luke told Nova 96.9’s Fitzy & Wippa, “I actually did get it, but I said no. I actually said it to Chris as a joke and he said, ‘If you go on The Bachelor, I will fire you!'”

Turns out Thor is just not a big fan of The Bachelor.

However, do not think of our Avengers hero as too heartless. Even though he ruined his trainer’s chances of finding love on The Bachelor, Luke seems to be doing just fine in that department.

The fitness guru revealed that he is no longer single. Which is the first time in 13 years. “I have finally gone and got myself a girlfriend. It took a pandemic! She’s a Swedish backpacker,” Luke shared.

So maybe Chris did the right thing. From what I know, everyone that does get together on the show ends up splitting some time later.

And as for Chris, his marriage with Elsa Pataky is still going strong. Even though she confessed to having ups and downs in their marriage. But the two have been happily married for 10 years and continue to work on their relationship.

“It’s funny that people think of us as a perfect couple,” Chris’ wife, Elsa explained in an interview back in August. “No way. It’s been ups and downs, and we still keep working at the relationship.”

So all in all, the banter between the Extraction actor and Luke was just in good fun. The two have been friends since they were kids. And Luke has since then become the man behind the muscles, as he helps Chris prepare for all of his movies.
