But almost immediately, NBC walked in as a savior salvaging the show from its imminent extinction. Brooklyn Nine Nine Season 6 premiered on NBC on January 10th, 2019, bringing in for the network some groundbreaking view points.  During its transition from Fox to NBC, Brooklyn Nine Nine reinvented itself. From trimming down its 24-episode season to a 13 -episode ( and eventually 18-episode order) to crucial exits of cast members (Chelsea Peretti), the show saw a major revamp. Yet with its consistently engaging humor, the show maintained its distinctiveness without getting monotonous.
