The ‘Back To The Future’ Cast Reunites Virtually After 35 Years

The Back To The Future cast is reuniting virtually after 35 years since the first film release and we can’t wait to see that happen! Josh Gad holds a YouTube series called Reunited Apart which is, in turn, supporting Project Hope. Now, we shall wait to see the likes of Doc Brown (Christoper Lloyd) and Marty McFly (Michael J Fox) coming together in a single screen yet again. But this is not all, reports are suggesting that Marty’s mother, Lorraine Baines (Lea Thompson), will also be coming for the reunion. Gad made this announcement on a short and heartwarming video this week.

Josh Gad Announces Back To The Future Cast Reunion

Take a look at the announcement Gad made on his YouTube show. The actor-comedian started by trying a Zoom video call with his mother. However, instead of her picking up, Thompson surprised him. Eventually, in an awkward moment, Gad proceeded to make a surprise ‘announcement’ which sort of was him asking our Lorraine if she would like to see the Back To The Future cast reunion on Monday. Take a look at this video below:

For those who may not know, Gad is popular for his voicing roles as Olaf in Frozen franchise. Unfortunately, we do not know for sure who else is going to be on this Zoom reunion for the Back to the Future cast. The show host posted an Instagram post that shows that he chatted with eight other people apart from McFly and Doc. He scribbled out their faces with a black marker before he posted the screenshot on the Internet.

The virtual reunion has become a trend now in Hollywood and everywhere else. With more time on people’s hands due to lockdown, everyone is open to the idea of sitting down for a while to reminisce old memories of the movies and television shows. Back to the Future cast was not doing anything different from this either.
