Aidan Gallagher Is Excited For “My Chemical Romance’s Return”

Aidan Gallagher, a rising singer, musician and the amazing number 5 from The Umbrella Academy, is truly inspired by My Chemical Romance. In fact, My Chemical Romance has a great impact on Gallagher’s music career. He is the famous time-traveler Number 5 of Gerard Way’s The Umbrella Academy and Gerard Way is the backbone of My Chemical Romance. We can easily say, the band means everything to this young and rising star.  That is why Gallagher is excited about the band’s return.

My Chemical Romance Returns

Fans are so excited about the return that the American rock band’s show is already sold out within minutes of the announcement. My Chemical Romance announced their break-up in 2013 in an official statement:

Being in this band for the past 12 years has been a true blessing. We’ve gotten to go places we never knew we would.

We’ve shared the stage with people we admire, people we look up to, and best of all, our friends. And now, like all great things, it has come time for it to end. Thanks for all of your support, and for being part of the adventure.

Formed in 2001, the band breakup was unexpected and many fans wanted them back. That is why when MCR announced their reunion, the fans could not hold their joy. They really want to see them live in a concert after 6 years.

In fact, My Chemical Romance band confirmed they were not expecting such a warm welcome on their reunion.

Aidan Gallagher’s Music Career

Aidan Gallagher is a multi-talented artist and an environmentalist. In March 2019, he confirmed in an interview how My Chemical Romance played an important role as an inspiration for his music career. He even released his first solo Blue Neon on the date when My Chemical Romance announced their breakup.

I picked that date because it was the end of something important to me and now the beginning of something important to me. Yes, I’m referring to the end of MCR and the beginning of my voice. The MCR fans are awesome and have been very supportive of the show and—to my surprise—of me as well. I’m just doing what I love, and I’m so grateful for the love.

Aidan Gallagher is attending My Chemical Romance return on December 20, 2019. MCR is not just his favorite band, Gallagher’s The Umbrella Academy is based on comic books written by MCR’s vocalist Gerard Way.
