An emotional tribute was shared by Star Wars’ Mark Hamill to Carrie Fisher’s daughter Billie Lourd after the surprising birth of her first newborn. Nobody within the fandom was hinted into this particular development from Carrie Fisher’s beloved daughter. But the whole Star Wars clan gathered to celebrate the amazing news. Both her fiancé Austen Rydell and Billie shared the news on Instagram.
Billie Lourd’s Newborn
The newborn named Kingston Fisher Lourd Rydell made his first appearance. This is Billie’s first child and therefore the famous Star Wars actress’s first grandchild. With no actual previous information about the happy expansion in the family, celebrities from the series could not wait to give their congratulations to the parents. As he gestured to the little guy’s very royal lineage Mark’s sweet words stood out too.
In an Instagram post, Mark wrote:
“Congratulations to Billie Lourd & Austen Rydell on the arrival of their firstborn child: Kingston Fisher Lord Rydell!!! I can’t think of another baby with both “KING” AND “LORD” in their name. Nice.”

Joonas Suotamo, Billie’s Star Wars co-star, who played Chewbacca in the latest Lucasfilm productions, simply commented:
“Congratulations!!!!”
While some of Billie’s castmates from the hit film Booksmart also took to opportunity to congratulate the new mother. Mason Gooding posted:

Castmate Diana Silvers said:
“WHATT!!!!!! OH MY GOD BILLIE YES WOW AUSTYN WOW!! CONGRATS YOU GUYS.”

The loving couple’s relationship first started back in 2016. They broke up once only to reunited in 2017. The two have been together ever since.
Both Billie and Austen shared lovely posts about each other on Instagram on Valentine’s Day this year.
Austen wrote:
“I found the best girl in the world. Happy Valentines Day to us!! We’re hangin with the redwoods today,” while Billie said: “All ’round the world you make my world go ’round #toinfinityandbaeyond (sic).”
Billie temporarily dated ‘Twilight’ star Taylor Lautner. Taylor was great support after the unfortunate deaths of her mother Carrie and her grandmother Debbie Reynolds. Both of whom passed away just a day apart from each other back in December of 2016.
Billie’s good news comes four years after the sad demise of her mother Carrie. Carrie suffered a heart attack while onboard a flight from London to Los Angeles just two days before Christmas.
