For Millennials. By Millennials.
And we have another music drop by our favorite artist, The Weeknd. He debuted his new song ‘Scared To Live’ on Saturday Night Live. Abel Tesfaye is all set to release the complete album ‘After Hours’ later this month, on March 20. And this song is a heads-up for what is in store for us. Keep reading for more details.
The Weeknd debuts new song at SNL
Saturday Night Live host Daniel Craig aka James Bond was the one to welcome The Weeknd on the stage.
Abel Tesfaye appeared in a red blazer coat and the same attire we have been seeing in all the new videos he has released lately. He also has a bandaged nose and a rough, disheveled look that he has been sporting to express himself lately.
And as always, his voice is just like magic.
The Weeknd also appeared in the show for other segments like to provide The Weeknd Update. And he played a part in a skit called On The Couch. You can watch it below.
Scared To Live
Scared To Live by The Weeknd is an emotional ballad with soft melodies. But the song has heartbreaking and a dark side to it. Especially the lyrics.
He apologizes for the mistakes he made in his past. This is assumably for Bella Hadid.
When I saw the signs, I shoulda let you go. But I kept you beside me
And if I held you back, at least I held you close
Should have known you were lonely. I know things will never be the same
Time we lost will never be replaced, I’m the reason you forgot to love
He goes on to say that he is not the man he used to be.
But I am not the man I used to be
Did some things I couldn’t let you see
Refused to be the one who taints your heart
The song is a treat to listen and deserves a listen. We can’t wait for the complete After Hours music album coming out soon.
