For Millennials. By Millennials.
Every day, a brand, designer or product is promoted by a celebrity. It gives the brands a chance to reach the masses. Similarly, Pepe Jeans London collaborated with Dua Lipa on their newest collection.

While Pepe Jeans is a casual wear clothing brand, its specialty is denim jeans
In 1973, three brothers created Pepe Jeans in London. They started with a weekend stall at Portobello Road Market. Later, a store for the brand opened in Carnaby Street. In the 1980s, it expanded all over Europe. Now based in Spain, Pepe Jeans added a new brand, Norton Clothing.

Having Dua Lipa on board is an interesting choice for Pepe Jeans
Although she was born in London, Dua Lipa’s family is originally from Albania. At the age of 14, Dua Lipa started posting covers on YouTube. However, she gained popularity when Dua Lipa appeared on X-Factor. She signed her first contract the same year. After that, there was no looking back for Lipa. In 2016, Lipa went on her first tour around the UK and Europe. Her most popular songs are New Rules, Physical, IDGAF, and One Kiss.

Teaming up with Dua Lipa, Pepe Jeans took inspiration from the 90s
The clothing line gives homage to different quarters of London. While talking about her collaboration, Lipa said:
“I was inspired by a mixture of the ’90s and early noughties — off-duty supermodels and the grunge club scene. London has a totally different feel to Paris or Milan. There’s something a bit more gritty about it. I wanted to make fashion feel like something that’s accessible to everyone.”

The collection includes everyday denim skirts, jumpsuits, jeans, and jackets. Apart from that, there are handy coats, party dresses, festival outfits, gowns, sweaters, and sweatshirts. All in all, there’s something for everyone in this collection.
