Zooey Deschanel’s Emails Get Sent to Zoey Deutch!

Zoey Francis Thompson Deutch is an American actress and film producer. The twenty-five-year-old starred in the film Vampire Academy in 2014. Since then she has starred in Richard Linklater’s ‘Everybody Wants Some!!’, ‘Why Him?’, ‘Before I Fall’, ‘Flower’, ‘Set It Up’, and ‘Zombieland 2’. The actress also has a prominent role in Ryan Murphy’s Netflix comedy series The Politician (2019).

Recently, the hailing actress appeared on the very famous TV show, The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. Wearing a beautiful yellow suit and looking elegant as ever she laughingly explained how she gets confused with another actress bearing a similar name: Zooey Deschanel. She said that she was asked by a security officer at the JFK airport if she was in the 2003 movie Elf?  Which she was not! It was Zooey Deschanel! Miss Deutch continued to explain how she has ended up with multiple emails meant for Zooey Deschanel. She went on to say that she has never forwarded them back to her in the past but plans to do so now.

The actress-producer has grown up on movie sets, to begin with. She is the younger sister of writer and actress Madelyn Deutch and the daughter of director Howard Deutch and actress-director Lea Thompson.

Zoey Deutch began her productions simultaneously with acting. Her production projects include The Year of Spectacular Men (2017) and Buffaloed (2019).

The actress is a natural comic. She comes from a house where both her parents appreciated this genre. And they both have appreciable experience with this genre too, both in movies and TV. Zoey Deutch herself finds this side of acting so much more than just a moment of laughter. She has said:

“I really love the idea that comedy is acting out of optimism and positivity, I find it a lot easier to be funny when you’re positive.”

As for Zooey Deschanel, she has starred in ‘New Girl’ as the leading role. The actress is also famous for her role in ‘500  Days of Summer’. Let’s wait and see how she responds to this news!
