For Millennials. By Millennials.
The binge-worthy television reality show ‘The Circle’ has been released. It is the first-ever reality show that has integrated today’s age of social media into the format in a compelling way. The show is a modern spin-off to Big Brother, where different competitors live together, compete, and then vote to eliminate. The last standing participant wins the show.
New Reality Show | ‘The Circle’
This latest reality show, The Circle, is a great substitute for fans of the hit Big Brother series that had 21 seasons. ‘The Circle’ is executively produced by Shane Byrne, Tim Harcourt, Stephen Lambert, Daisy Lilley, Susy Price, Chet Fenster, Richard Foster. It will have episodes released on a weekly basis.
However, this show does not have physical competitions. Rather, it is a game of ‘socials.’
The participants of The Circle are in complete isolation as they cannot physically interact or say anything to each other. Instead, 95% of the interactions are done on the social media platform designated for them as a tool to socialize.
Being the most likable is a shot at winning the game. Another factor is how ‘real’ someone is based on their posts and photos. Tactics that can be used, include manipulation and catfishing. The Circle winner will be taking home a whopping 100,000 dollars prize.
