Westworld might just be the most confusing TV show we might have watched. I mean, it’s amazing how creators Michael Crichton and Lisa Joy can perfectly synchronize two to three storylines together, only to unravel everything at the end. As DigitalSpy said, these confusing delights have confusing ends. With season two ending on a cliffhanger, what should we expect from Westworld season 3? Well, for a start looking at trailer we know that Aaron Paul will be joining the cast as one of the main characters of this maze-like storyline.
At San Diego Comic-Con, Executive producer Lisa Joy said:
“We’ve tried to constrain the aperture through which we view the world through the hosts. The nature of the reveals might change, but they’re [still] all kind of ground in what would the hosts perceive… and what could they be misapprehending.”
The trailer features most of the real world. However, this does not mean that the park is out of the storyline. Lisa Joy clarified that Westworld season 3 will have new areas of the park, which were never seen before. We already have seen Shogun World, and the Raj World apart from the Wild West world.
Perhaps this season we will sea a Nazi World (World War II)?
We are not sure about this one, but seeing that Aaron Paul is so heavily involved in the second trailer (above) there is a reason to believe that everything is finalized. We think that the Westworld Season 3 release date will be set in the first half of the year, with only eight episodes this time. IMDB has written a date of August 28 on its website.
We already know about Evan Rachel Wood (Dolores), Luke Hemsworth (Ashley Stubbs), Ed Harris (Man in Black), and Tessa Thompson (Charlotte). Now, Aaron Paul is also going to feature in Westworld season 3. We do not know what character he will play. However, speaking to Winter is Coming, he said:
“The first two seasons were so big and so ambitious, and this third season is even more ambitious and crazier. And it comes out sometime next year. I’m just so excited for people to see the world outside of the parks.”
Right now there is little to go on about the story. However, Jonathan Nolan has promised that the third season of Westworld will try to answer one big question: If Dolores is back in her body, who is controlling Charlotte’s host form at the end of the season finale?
Only time will explain this one!
