For Millennials. By Millennials.
If you were feeling nostalgic for old shows, then Netflix has got your back. Recently, they announced that they were adding Nickelodeon shows available for viewing on their streaming service. The main TV shows that got fans pretty excited were Victorious and Sam and Cat.
Victorious, as you may recall, stars the extremely popular musical artist Ariana Grande. Along with Grande, there are Dynasty’s Elizabeth Gillies, Now Apocalypse’s Avan Jogia, and Jennette McCurdy.
Victorious Was a Nickelodeon Classic
It was the most popular show on Nickelodeon. It follows a group of friends in high school that specializes in performing arts. The main lead was Tori (Victoria Justice). She navigated the difficult life along with her friends Cat (Ariana Grande), Jade (Elizabeth Gillies), Beck (Avan Jogia), Robbie (Matt Bennett), Andre (Leon Thomas III), and her sister Trina (Daniella Monet).
No Reunion News As Of Yet
The fans were hoping for a Victorious reunion. Interestingly, cast members such as Liz Gillies and Ariana Grande have expressed their desire for a special reunion.
In fact, Gillies stated:
“I keep speaking out of turn and saying I’m ready to do one tomorrow. I think everybody’s down.
Ariana Grande tweeted in 2017 about the reunion:
“Victorious needs a finale.”
I guess the show’s arrival on Netflix will have to suffice for now. Though, Ariana Grande’s Thank U, Next video features her Victorious castmates as well. So that’s something!
