Tupac’s death in September 1996 is still one of the most discussed topics among the fans. He died after he was shot four times by a rival gang member. This is the story that we know but filmmaker Rick Boss thinks otherwise. ‘2Pac: The Great Escape From UMC’ director thinks the legendary rapper is still alive and it was his body double who died.
According to the Los Angeles Times’ “Who killed Tupac Shakur?”, a story by investigative reporter Chuck Phillips, 2Pac’s death was a consequence of gang rivalry. We all know the stories revolving around his passing away but one filmmaker disagrees.
Seems like 2Pac: The Great Escape From UMC’s director Rick Boss knows something that we don’t. Boss believes that Tupac Shakur is still alive and lives somewhere in New Mexico under protection.
According to Rick, the American rapper and actor knew about the attack and planted a look-alike in Suge Knight’s car. Former Death Row Records’ boss Suge Knight also claimed that Tupac Shakur is still alive. Knight told Soledad O’Brien during a special interview titled “Who Shot Biggie and Tupac?”
Suge Knight Jr was also seen saying once that 2Pac Shakur is residing somewhere in Malaysia. The latest revelations by the film director, coupled with all the previous claims is just mind-boggling. He calls these facts and claims that he gets all his information from people close to Tupac.
You can write fiction. You can write a fiction story but this is not fiction. These are facts through certain people I know.
He added that the Shakur family is okay with the film 2Pac: The Great Escape from UMC and agrees with the story.
Let’s just say Mr. Tupac Shakur and the family is aware of the movie. They’re okay with the title so that should tell you more or less what’s going on.
This Tupac movie revolves around the events of September 7, 1996. The film is a dramatization of the claims that the rapper’s death was fake and it was a planted look-alike in Suge Knight’s car, who got shot and later passed away.
Boss’s movie also sheds light on the theory that Tupac is alive and resides in New Mexico. Richard Garcia will play the lead role and reenact the events leading to Tupac Shakur’s supposed escape from UMC. The film is set for a 2021 release date. Dankanator will keep you updated.
