The coronavirus pandemic is surely taking its toll on everyone, perhaps even Killing Eve writer Phoebe Waller-Bridge. Recent reports suggest that the 34-year-old’s relationship with 50-year-old Martin McDonagh is taking a backseat during the lockdown. It was three years ago when she and the Three Billboards movie director were found to be in a relationship. Right now, it is believed that Waller-Bridge is staying with her music composer sister in London, where McDonagh is staying in the U.S. To top it off, the two are having busy days working their careers, finding it tough to maintain communication during the lockdown.
Phoebe Waller-Bridge Is Concentrating On Work Projects
The news comes from The Sun who credit an unknown source about this. Waller-Bride and boyfriend McDonagh are living busy lives by focussing on their careers. In fact, because of that, they are finding themselves to be in separate directions from each other.
The sources continued to tell the whereabouts of the Emmy winning writer-actress Waller-Bridge. The Fleabag star gets on well with her sister Isobel and because of the lockdown, she is focussing on her work projects these days. This source even revealed:
“She and Martin have always been low-key but their relationship has taken a back set.”
In the past few years, we know Phoebe Waller-Bridge has been quite rightly working on her career and it shows. She has won many awards in the past because of her two very popular UK shows, Killing Eve and Fleabag. She even became Hollywood’s ‘most powerful person on television’ last year. If this was not enough, she also earned a chance to work in the next James Bond movie No Time To Die starring Daniel Craige. Recently, she has come up with a comedy on Sky, called Run.
As for Martin McDonagh, he got an Oscar nod for his drama Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri. He is now working on The Banshees of Inisheer, where he is set to reunite with Colin Farrell and Brendan Gleeson whom he worked with on In Bruges.
